Invited by the ISF PC, I had the privilege of leading an artist talk at the Staged Photography Workshop, an event dedicated to unraveling the intricate processes and creative nuances of staged photography. This workshop provided a platform for both aspiring and seasoned photographers to delve into the art of constructing photographic scenes that are meticulously planned and executed to convey specific concepts or narratives. My presentation covered various aspects of staged photography, from the initial concept development and scene setting to the technical challenges and artistic decisions. Attendees were engaged in discussions about the impact of staged imagery in modern visual culture and gained practical insights into creating compelling photographic compositions that tell powerful stories.
